The purification plant in Radlje ob Dravi has just been opened

The
purification plant for wastewater collection and treatment in Radlje ob Dravi constructed
by Riko and its partner SGP Pomgrad, d.d. was opened on the town’s municipal
holiday.
Riko and its
partner Pomgrad were chosen as contractors in the call for tenders issued for
the purpose of the »Wastewater collection and treatment in the Drava – Upper
Drava river basin» project. With this project the two companies will take care
of the entire wastewater collection and treatment as well as the protection of
water sources in the river basin of Upper Drava. The chosen contractors will be
responsible for the construction of the sewage system and purification plant in
the municipalities Muta-Vuzenica, Selnica ob Dravi and Radlje ob Dravi and for
the construction of the sewage system in the Dravograd municipality. While the
purification plant in Selnica ob Dravi was granted a preliminary running, the purification
plant for wastewater collection and treatment in Radlje ob Dravi already
started running. M.A. Alan Bukovnik, the mayor of the Radlje ob Dravi
municipality made a speech at the opening ceremony of the Radlje ob Dravi
purification plant and on this occasion the gathered have also been addressed
by Riko d.o.o.'s director Janez Škrabec.
The Riko company
built this purification plant in cooperation with its partner Pomgrad d.d. and
included a number of companies from Koroška, such as Elektrosignal d.o.o.,
Slemenšek d.o.o., Prosys, Jožef Nabernik sp., Pasarstvo Tratnik, Elektro
storitve Bogdan Morandel s.p, Gradbeništvo Mulec, EkoLux d.o.o, Mikro-Polo
d.o.o., Geodet Hren, Jernej Maučec sp, etc. into the construction process. The construction project was partially
financed from the EU Cohesion Fund within the Operation Programme of
Environmental and Transport Infrastructure Development for the period 2007─2013,
developmental priorities »Environmental Protection – Water Sector«, priority
direction »Wastewater Collection and Treatment«.
