Today the Finance newspaper published the TOP 101 ladder of the most successful companies on which Riko was given the 2nd place right after Krka from Novo mesto. According to Finance Riko nearly missed the 1st place. Krka and Riko are followed by Lek and in the first fifth of the ladder are mostly companies owned by foreign investors.
Last year Riko raised its profit 12-times and expects an additional
growth in this year as well. Riko’s director Janez Škrabec said for the
Finance that the decision that Riko took years ago to expand their
activities and start working on engineering in the fields of
environmental protection and energetics turned out to be strategically
correct. This decision made Riko one of the largest Slovenian
engineering companies that can thank its high growth and prospective
expectations to its activities in the field of environmental protection
and energetics, strengthening of its position on the markets of the
former Soviet Union, its excellent personnel and conservative management
policy.
