Riko Hiše a Nominee for the Leadership Award of the WGBC Europe Region

The World Green Building Council (WGBC) is the umbrella organization in the filed of sustainable construction, which represents over more then 25,000 organizations and companies from 98 world countries.
In frames of the World Green Building Week event between the 16th and 20th September 2013 the WGBC’s European Regional Network published the nominees and winners of the WGBC Europe Region Leadership Awards to promote cases of good practice in the filed of sustainable construction, implemented projects and corporate initiatives.

Riko Hiše was also nominated for the Business Leadership in Sustainability Award. Riko’s many years of commitment to sustainable wooden constructions, environmentally and socially friendly production, active integration in the local environment and attentive protection of nature represent a successful example of corporate integration of the principles of sustainability.
