For this client we developed a horizontal machining centre for the manufacture of heavy freight cars. Extremely cramped site conditions forced us to come up with an ingeniously compact design. The machining centre is distinguished by its high efficiency and resilience, making it perfectly suited for the high-speed production of large, heavy products such as the main chassis parts for freight cars (for example bolster supports of  length up to 2600 mm and mass up to 750 kg). We constructed and delivered six machining centres and integrated them into the manufacturing line with the help of a conveying system.
