After the
construction of 4 successfully functioning transformer stations, Riko signed a
contract with the investor Minskenergo for the construction of new and
reconstruction of the existing transformer stations. Both will contribute to
the energy supply of the developing city of Minsk. The project value is set to 43
million EUR (VAT excluded).
Riko as
general contractor for construction and reconstruction of transformer stations
with contacts and cable connections on 110kV/10kV voltage level included a
number of Slovenian partners into the practical completion of this turnkey
project, among them Kolektor Etro, Sipro, ABB and Siemens. The project
investor is the RUP MINSKENERGO RB company, which is in charge of supply and
distribution of electricity and heat in MINSK and its surrounding area. MINSKENERGO
RB produces 40% of all electricity in Bularus.
The first
transformer station will be a new construction on the outskirts of Minsk, which
became a rapidly evolving area with a new residential settlement, shopping malls
and foreseen business buildings. The second transformer station will be
reconstructed with the help of the new transformer station and its corresponding
equipment.
