On Sunday September 4th 2016
Riko CEO Janez Škrabec was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of
Belarus to the Republic of Slovenia. At an official ceremony in Minsk,
the credentials were handed to him by former Ambassador of Belarus to
Slovenia, now Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Ms. Alena
Kupchyna.
As a businessman, Janez Škrabec operates as an integrator,
linking economic, corporate , cultural and diplomatic achievements of the
environments in which he operates. In Belarus Riko carried out major investment
projects in the energy sector and the in the construction industry, moreover it
pursues important cultural achievements as a proud supporter.
Besides his new honorary title, Janez Škrabec has also been
the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco in Slovenia since 2002.
